About Us
I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages throughout the New Jersey and Colorado communities. I have been calling Colorado home for the last decade and when I first moved here, I worked with an agency to find a caretaking job. I found a fantastic family, but I have some critiques as to how to make the experience better for care givers and care seekers, and this venture is that!
I uniquely understand what parents, children and care givers are looking for within the relationship they have with each other. I believe that this expertise allows me to vet care givers on behalf of parents and vet families on behalf of care givers.
I understand the important relationships that are being built through children/care givers and I want to honor that through specialized placement. Through meeting every single person that I place or work with, I can feel confident when I make a match.
Children are the future and I believe it is important that we help, collectively, raise our children to have the values of being a good person and the belief that they can change the world.
Deanna Semanchik
As a childcare provider, I believe in learning through play and exploration for the world around you. I also believe in holding children accountable to help them be able to make informed choices independently and become responsible little humans as they grow. I encourage cleaning up after themselves and ask little tasks of them because I believe it makes them feel proud of themselves.
I am also skilled in large home organization projects from a childhood household of a hoarder. I have channeled this energy into a love of organization projects from closets to garages.
Additionally, I have six years of working as an executive assistant in start ups so I can help with tasks more along the lines of being a personal assistant.
In my personal time: I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, kayaking, practicing yoga, traveling, and scuba diving. I approach the world with a sense of wonder and I thank working with children for the better part of my life for keeping my heart and mind open.
